Simple Remedies For Dull Skin During the Monsoon

 Monsoon season

is a common time for skin allergies and infections. Your skin may lose its radiance in humid conditions.

The monsoon is a fun season that fills us with excitement and makes us crave hot cuisine, tea on our balcony, and a refreshing wind. Nature uses the monsoon to say good-bye to the oppressive heat that results in skin tanning, sunburn, sweating, and stench. But it's also important to keep in mind that the monsoon's humidity can be a major contributor to skin allergies, infections, and even dullness of the skin. We've got you covered, so don't worry.

A concise guide to monsoon skin care is provided here by Dr. Sushma Yadav, a dermatologist, cosmetologist, hair transplant surgeon, and the founder of Bangalore's Sinology Centre.

Ten recommendations for skin care in the monsoon season

1...  Utilize a mild, alcohol-free cleaner to remove surplus oil. Our skin greatly perspires during the monsoon, leaving it greasy and sticky. It's crucial to use a mild cleanser to remove the surplus oil.

2...  If you have oily skin, use water-based moisturizers; moisturizers are always necessary, regardless of skin type! To restore elasticity to your skin, use one that is soft and fragrance-free.

3...  Use a mild scrub to exfoliate your skin twice a week to remove dead skin cells.

4...  Even if the weather is really overcast and dark, keep applying sunscreen. No matter what season it is, you should constantly protect your skin from UV rays.

5...  Pick a simple makeup look. Combining sweat and makeup can clog your pores and cause skin breakouts.

6...  Stay hydrated to achieve that healthy glow from within by consuming plenty of water and other liquids containing vitamin C.

7...  Always keep tissues on hand for wiping away extra sweat and oil from the midday sun. Otherwise, be sure to use a clean, freshly cleaned handkerchief every day since a filthy or unclean one might spread bacteria to your skin and result in acne.

8...  Even though the monsoon season calls for lots of fried and fatty food, try to limit your intake to avoid losing your youthful glow.

9...   Hot showers should be avoided because they might cause your skin to become overly dry and brittle.

10...  Last but not least, take a shower as soon as you can after getting wet to clean your skin and hair and prevent rainwater damage.
